Upper started in 2024 with a simple idea: make fewer pieces, make them well, and make every one count. No restocks. No catalogue. Just drops.

The founders

[Partner name] runs production in Ecuador: fabric, patterns and the workshop. Ricardo Bonilla brings Upper to the United States.

We wanted clothes that feel like where we’re from, made by people we know. So we make them ourselves, in small runs, and we put a number on every one.
